Can both parents attend?

Yes definitely! At least ONE parent/guardian must attend with baby, but bring who ever is a part of your support system!

What if my baby is fussy or needs to eat during class?

Definitely feel welcome to feed your baby during class if needed! Babies are welcome to eat, take breaks, be held, and participate at their own pace.

What if my baby isn't doing the skill yet?

My baby is outside the listed age range. Can we still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Age ranges are simply a guide. We encourage you to select the class that best matches the skills your baby is currently working on.

Do I need to bring toys or equipment?

Feel free to bring a few of your baby's favorite toys, but we'll have mats, toys, and equipment available for everyone.

Are these therapy sessions?

BabyFIT Movement Club classes are educational, play-based group experiences designed to support developmental skills and empower parents with practical strategies. Classes are not a substitute for individualized medical or therapy services. Rachel is a Pediatric PT and Sydney is a Pediatric OT, but these are not formal therapy sessions.

What if I have to miss a class?

This is ok! We understand that everyone has life things come up. It's ok to miss a class. Just make it to as many as you can! Please reach out to rachandsyd@thebabyfitproviders.com if you need to miss a class.

What if the class I want is full?

Accepted Answer

If the class you'd like to join is currently full, please email us at rachandsyd@thebabyfitproviders.com to be added to the waitlist.If a spot becomes available, we'll contact families on the waitlist in the order requests are received. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee enrollment, but it also helps us know which classes have the highest demand and may help us add additional class times in the future!

My baby has a history of NICU care or has special needs. Can we still attend?

Absolutely! BabyFIT Movement Club is designed to be an inclusive and supportive space for babies with a variety of developmental experiences and needs.As a pediatric Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist–led program, we understand that every baby's developmental journey looks different. We encourage you to choose the class based on the skills your baby is currently working on rather than their age alone.If you have questions about whether a specific class would be a good fit for your baby, please email us at rachandsyd@thebabyfitproviders.com before enrolling. We're happy to help guide you toward the class that may best support your baby and family.Please note that group classes are educational and play-based and may not be a replacement for individualized therapy or medical care.

How many babies will be in each class?

This will vary but we like to keep classes small (around 10-15) to be able to work with everyone in a group setting, but also individually!

What if I would love to attend a BabyFIT class but can't afford the cost?

We believe every family deserves access to support, education, and guidance as they navigate their baby's development. If the cost of a BabyFIT Movement Club class is a barrier for your family, please don't hesitate to reach out.Email us at rachandsyd@thebabyfitproviders.com with the subject line Financial Assistance, and we'll be happy to discuss available options. Depending on availability, we may be able to offer reduced-cost or scholarship-supported class spots!!We want finances to be as little of a barrier as possible and encourage you to reach out if additional support would help your family participate.
