Play Classes: What to Expect
Hi! We're
Rach & Syd
Hi! We’re Dr. Rachel and Sydney, the pediatric Physical Therapist and Occupational Therapist behind BabyFIT.
Between the two of us, we have spent our careers helping babies and children build the skills they need to move, play, explore, and gain independence. Through our work as pediatric therapists - and now through our own experiences supporting families and navigating the early stages of development - we’ve seen just how many questions can come up around milestones.
BabyFIT Play Classes brings our Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy backgrounds together to create a supportive space where babies can move, explore, and build new skills while parents learn exactly how to support them along the way.
Because every baby develops differently, we meet babies where they are, celebrate their individual progress, and help families feel more confident about what comes next.
What to bring:
Please bring your baby's favorite toys or a few items they're especially interested in right now! Using familiar toys can help us make the activities meaningful and fun for your baby.
We'll provide floor mats and a variety of toys and equipment, so there's no need to bring anything special if you'd prefer to travel light. Just bring your baby, anything you normally need for an outing, and get ready to play!
Can also bring: comfy clothes that are easy to move in, diapers/wipes/feeding supplies, water/coffee for you!
What to expect:
More than just playtime.
Each class is led by Milestone Coaches: Rachel (a Pediatric Physical Therapist) and Sydney (a Pediatric Occupational Therapist)!
During class, you can expect:
-
Play-based activities designed around developmental skills
-
Hands-on guidance and positioning tips
-
Ideas tailored to the stage your baby is currently in
-
Opportunities to ask questions
-
A supportive community of parents going through similar stages
-
Practical strategies you can continue using at home
